Image 1: Canon XS DSLR modified camera ( infrared filter removed and replaced with an Astronomik full spectrum clear filter), ISO 1600, Canon 50 mm f1.8 lens, 5 second exposure. This camera is my dedicated transient luminous event and sprite capturing camera but it also captures many meteors.

Meteor occurred September 22, 2011, 0410:27 UTC over northeast New Mexico.
